HISTORY

Michigan Cricket Association was formed in the year 2001 and is registered as a non-profit organization in the State of Michigan.
The primary aim of the organization is to promote the game of cricket in Michigan. The vision to accomplish this task is captured, succinctly in the following simple principles:

  • Create a stimulating environment for players to enjoy the game of cricket by conducting fair and friendly competition.
  • Seed the game of cricket at the grass root level by making it a school activity, community participation in the sport and nurturing young talent.
  • Build infrastructure with the help of communities, corporations and government.
  • Participate in the regional, national and international competition through USACA and become a key cricketing region in the United States.
