• Central East Regional Tournament (CERT)
CER Inter-League tournament held by USACA was held in Chicago on 18th and 19th July. The team sent by MichCA played two 30-over games- one each against GLCC and MWCC. Our team did not make it to the finals.

USA Stars beat Pakistan Greens to win the championship. India Blues, Sri Lanka Lions, Canada Maple Leafs and West Indies Masters also participated.

Youth Camps have been organized at LYON OAKS park [Wixom] Flyer and SOMERSET park [TROY]
• USACA's U19 Tournament (UU19T)
CER (Central East Region) fielded a team and four players from MichCA participated in this championship. North West Region beat Atlantic Region by 5 wickets in the Finals to win the U-19 championship.

USACA ANNOUNCES 1st UNDER-19 All-America Team
• U-19 Tournament in California (LA)
A U19 T20 tournament was held in LA in which 4 players from MichCA/MCA participated. Four Players (Sunny, Kishan, Yasin and Taimoor) from Michigan (Michca and MCA) went to play na invitational LA U19 T20 tournament . The team was called Midwest Falcons. Coach and Manager were from Chicago, Introduced by Mr. Chidambar Joshi, (C.J) Coach- Mr. Douglas Gerber, and Manager Mr. Shridhar. The team Played 4 Matches in 4 days, which were played 50 over basis, except the last one was 30 overs due to Chicago Players had to fly on that same day. Team Lost 2 games, and Won 2 games. Captain Abhijit Scored the Highest in the tournament. Players also Meet Franklyn Rose (as Ex West Indies player). SCCA-I won the tournament ... other teams were CCA, Central East, SCCA-I, SCCA-2, CCA (total teams)
Michigan Players played well in their fields of the game. Also, this was a practise tournament for the Central East team (Midwest) so, there were many experiments done to help the team perform achieve better in the National tournament, during May 22nd - 25th

MichCA 2008 awards ceremony will be held on Saturday, November 22 at LTU campus in Southfield from 12 noon to 3:00 pm. Please join us with all the members of your team..
Awards will be distributed for all the 2008 events including:
TOA, GLT, U-14 Youth, T20 & F40 Leagues & IUST.
Lunch and coffee/tea will be served. Please mark your calendar.
